Knowledge Graph Language Choices
We are using web semantic standards languages like RDF, RDFS, and OWL and its rich ecosystem. This choice enabled the generation of RDF resources corresponding to our data from a custom syntactic analysis. This allows the integration of our knowledge graph with other web semantic tooling using web semantic standards such as RDF/XML, Turtle, N-Triples, and JSON-LD.
Source Files
Unstructured data was collected from our research departments and converted into structured data (e.g. .csv and .bib) in order to create a single source of truth for our ontology.
Utilizing Blazegraph
To exploit this graph, we are using Blazegraph, an open source triplestore and graph database. Blazegraph provides a robust platform for storing and querying large-scale graphs.
